Who we are
Football Away Day Planner (footballawaydayplanner.co.uk) is run by Sam Cheeseright, a sole trader based in the UK. Sam is the "controller" of the personal data described here. You can contact us at hello@footballawaydayplanner.co.uk.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist we collect:
- your email address
- the club you support, if you choose to tell us
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this page.
Why we collect it
We use your email address only to tell you when Football Away Day Planner opens, and the club you choose to decide which fans to open to first. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by joining the waitlist. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run the site, who handle data on our behalf and under contract:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website
- our email service provider, which stores the waitlist and sends launch emails
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this page, so your browser connects to Google's servers when the page loads
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. If you haven't created an account within 12 months of launch, we'll delete them.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Every email has an unsubscribe link. To make a request, email hello@footballawaydayplanner.co.uk.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We'll update this page if anything changes, and tell you by email before using your data in a new way.
